SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – November 9, 2009 – Sparton Corporation (NYSE: SPA) today announced it will host a conference call with investors and analysts on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. EST, to discuss its first quarter financial results for fiscal year 2010, provide a general business update, and respond to investor questions.

The Company's first quarter results ending September 30, 2009, will be filed with the SEC no later than November 16, 2009.
