Mr. Rost serves as Vice President & GM, Medical at Sparton Corporation since March 2011. In this position, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership and tactical direction for the company’s Medical business unit. He has over 15 years experience in the contract manufacturing and engineering services arena and was a managing partner in two medical device contract manufacturers that were acquired by larger companies as strategic transactions.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Rost served as Vice President and managing partner in Byers Peak, Inc, a medical device contract manufacturer, since 2007. Previously, he was Vice President of Peak Industries, also a medical device contract manufacturer, where he held roles in manufacturing and business development since 1996. He began his manufacturing career at DTM Products, a plastic injection molding company, where he held various roles in production and business management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Central Missouri.
