Sparton's Corporate NPI team is responsible to introduce new product proto-types, engineering samples and pre-production requirements throughout the corporation for our customers. The team is required to develop strategic plans at the corporate level and execute the tactical plans at the plant level. The team provides the specific support requirements to each plant to insure that the customers need dates are met.
The TeamOur team provides you with 'full service solutions' to meet your new product requirements. We also provide additional services such as Design for Manufacturability and Test Reports, Industrial Engineering, on-site Customer Service and Material Planning support when required. The team is comprised of the following professionals; Technical and Engineering, Material Planning, Customer Service and Project Management. Each member is well recognized as experts in their disciplines. The team has functioned as a well organized unit over the past four years and has a combined total of over sixty years of experience in this area. |

CapabilitiesOur NPI teams have the resources and capability to successfully transfer and start-up new products for you. Our experiences cover many areas, such as: Printed Circuit Board Assembly, Box Build, Medical Build, Aviation, Aero Space, Military, Mechanical and Electro Mechanical to name a few. We have on staff Industrial Engineers, Process Engineers, Electro and Mechanical Engineers, Engineering Technicians, Customer Service Planners and Material Planners. We also have a broad range of Design Engineering Services that are provided to you, our customer. This group works hand in hand with our NPI team and you.Transition PlanThe team is very well capable of transitioning old and new products from one location to another. During the past four years we have transferred over one hundred different products into our locations. We will come into your facility and do an analysis to help us determine the best transfer method to utilize in moving your products into our facilities. A specialized team is formed to make-up the transition team, the customer has to assign a minimum of two of their employees to this team. One has to be an engineer whom is familiar with the products and the other at a minimum a program manager or project manager. Once our analysis is done we will provide you with a transfer plan and the NPI team will develop an introduction plan which is custom designed to meet your needs.
