Sparton Medical supported the technology transfer from Sorin’s manufacturing facility in Italy to the United States after Cytomedix had purchased Angel from Sorin in a divestiture

After achieving a quality file transfer and first article qualifications, Sparton Medical supported the production ramp through a mix of existing and newly purchased material. The team re-sourced some of the components with new suppliers based on the new geographic parameters of the manufacturing process. Plus, Sparton Medical coordinated the raw material transfer and supply chain redeployment.
