Product: Trans Cranial Magnetic Stimulator

Sparton Medical’s Role: To help treat chronic depression in patients, physicians often turn to trans cranial magnetic stimulators. These stimulators provide therapeutic relief using MRI-strength magnetic technologies.

Neuronetics partnered with Sparton Medical to design and manufacture its stimulators. In addition to designing and integrating the software, precision mechanical components, and eletronics, Sparton Medical also managed the development of a cart-mounted console to increase the device’s portability.

As part of the engagement, Sparton Medical developed a custom power supply. The team was also tasked with creating and maintaining the design history file for the device as well as developing the testing protocols.
