Product: Intraoperative Monitoring System

Sparton Medical’s Role: NuVasive’s intraoperative monitoring system is designed to reduce the incidence of injury to neural elements during spinal surgeries.

To bring NuVasive’s vision for its device to life, Sparton Medical created the first articles on the custom components and PCAs. Eventually, the Sparton team developed ICT fixtures for 5 PCAs, tested the fixtures, and validated the assemblies.

Sparton Medical built the prototypes while also compiling the assembly and test documentation. NuVasive was even able to take advantage of our flexible manufacturing model as they tracked the acceptance and demand for the product in the market. Finally, working in partnership with NuVasive, a Repair Depot process was established.
