Sparton Corporation Launches New Marketing Campaign – Conquering Complexity™

For Immediate Release

Schaumburg, IL (March 5, 2013) – Sparton Corporation (NYSE: SPA) has announced the launch of a new integrated marketing campaign titled “Conquering Complexity™”.  The campaign emphasizes the sophistication of processes and systems as defining characteristics in validating a contract design and manufacturing partner.

“As we continue to execute our growth strategy, the Conquering Complexity™ campaign concisely defines what we are accomplishing in our businesses”, said Cary Wood, President and Chief Executive Officer for Sparton.  “We focus on areas of business that are very specialized, requiring a unique technological and process infrastructure.  With that infrastructure in place here at Sparton, we feel we are in fact conquering the complexity of the customers and projects we serve.”

The initial campaign launch includes a series of online advertisements, e-newsletter sponsorships, and email campaigns to deliver valuable content for organizations to use in the process of assessing their outsource partner.  The first asset, a white paper titled “Contract Manufacturing Pitfalls: What the Wrong Production System Can Really Cost You”, is structured to educate outsourcing decision makers on the variables that can add cost and risk to a project if not examined thoroughly.

“Not all contract manufacturers are created equal.  As you make your way up the complexity scale, you must commit extra attention to matching your device complexity with a design and manufacturing partner that can demonstrate robust production system principles, sophisticated processes and broad technological expertise,” said Dan Kuzniewski, Director of Corporate Marketing for Sparton.

“The Conquering Complexity™ campaign intends to enhance the brand value of Sparton as a match for these challenging projects.”

Additionally, Sparton has enhanced their website (www.sparton.com) to reflect the new campaign theme, as well as to communicate their core strength in Medical & Biotechnology, Military & Aerospace, and Industrial & Commercial market segments.
